World Coverage

In the past, if your customers needed to track and trace their freight shipments via the Internet they had to rely on large transporters and freight forwarders who controlled the whole network and with it, the software technology. This made it difficult for the rest of the transportation industry to compete against these large global players. These companies rightly understand the customers growing need to use the Webs Internet technology for information on the status of their cargo. Customers knew that only large transporters could offer the technology needed to track and trace cargo world wide. Because of this control, you were once left behind and unable to use these services. Now at last CargoFind© frees you from this dependence. It gives you access to the same technology but with the added bonus of choosing the mode of transport and the transporter best suited to you and your customer.

Using Modern Tele-communications via the Internet, opens a new world of communication. Forget those endless telephone calls, CargoFind does it for you automatically, by sending email alerts.

The agenda is now clear for your customer to plan ahead for their delivery. They will also show sure confidence in your control of their freight shipment. Freightdata is the freight software that provides you with that tool.

A better way to do business

A better way to do business is control. If customers can look up the status of their cargo then they bother you less and feel they are being kept informed. Automatic email notification brings this one step further.

How It Works

CargoFind has been exclusively developed to provide an efficient Freight Tracking system that can be used by all Freightdata users, from the smallest to the largest company.

The Freightdata user (normally a Freight Forwarder) has, as part of his existing software, all the necessary ingredients for transferring shipment/cargo information to the CargoFind Web Server. All he needs to make the transfer take place is access to the Internet on one PC.
The Freight Forwarder, once activated on the Server, will transmit secure Cargo information to the Server for Customers he has registered himself. This is done simply within the Freightdata supplied software and takes place at timed intervals set up by the Freight Forwarder.

The Forwarder can update the status of the Shipment/Cargo; from within Freightdata, or by his approved Agent, who will access the shipments directly over the Internet.

Status will include Name of person signing for collection/delivery and the date and time. Comments can also be added. The Customer will be able to see the status of his shipment simply by logging on to the Internet. He can access this via a link on the Freight Forwarders own web site or via the Freightdata 2000 web site, if the Freight Forwarder does not have one of his own.

All cargo/shipments are secure. Access to information is strictly by Logon Username and Password.

No Freight Forwarder can see another Freight Forwarders shipments. No Customer can see another customers shipments. Most people are familiar with the concept of on-line tracking. Customers can look up their cargo in a variety of ways. They can use their references, the Forwarders reference, House and Master Air Waybill numbers, Bill of Lading numbers, Container/Trailer numbers, Purchase Order Numbers or the date ranges.

They will be able to see the shipment history and have these details emailed directly to them or anyone else he wishes the details to go to. The customer will be able to access this information 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. No waiting on his part! Even the Freight Forwarder will have his local information updated when the Agent updates the Cargo on the Internet, so he will know that the Cargo has arrived.

Does my customer need Freightdata?

There is no need for you're customer to have Freightdata 2000 freight software. All they need is to have access to the Internet, with a password that youve already provided. From here, he can now access his own cargo information via his PC. If your branch office or agent uses Freightdata (many do all over the world) you will be able to update cargo automatically to their system. This innovation is just around the corner and will be implemented soon by Freightdata.

Do I pay for the customers usage of CargoFind
