Air Waybill Checking

Air WayBill Printing Check Screen

The Information entered must be checked before an Air Waybill is printed. This is done so that in line with CASS recommendations, an Air Waybill is issued once in its original stste and the information cannot be altered thereafter.

For this reason the checking process will check mandatory fields and show which fields have not been entered. Only when all mandatory fields are checked as being completed will the date in the 'Checked' field be entered.

At this point an Air Waybill can be printed and once printed the Issued date will be entered. If this is for an IATA/Neutral Air Waybill, a further check is made on the Air Waybill Number and printing will not take place until this has been allocated.

This is the screen image that appears when the button 'Checked' is pressed. Check marks are placed against correct entries and crosses against information still required. In the case of charges it is only necessary to enter at least one type of charge. Therefore a large Check mark will appear when everything has been correctly completed and the Air Waybill can be printed.
